Viking Athletic Association Scholarship

Requires a note/transcript from counselor verifying a cumulative 2.5 grade point average or above.
Participated in at least 2 school sponsored organizations during their senior year, one of which needs to have been a sport.

Principal Scholarship

Service Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to recognize Center High School students who have volunteered time to the school community to make it a better place.  All Senior Peer Mediators and Key Club members who have been active for a minimum of the last two years are eligible.  For Peer Mediators, you may apply as long as you were asked to join.

Viking Navigators/STARS Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to recognize Center High School students who have volunteered time to the STARS program.   This scholarship remembers the legacy of Will Weatherford, a former student who passed away from cancer in May of 2018.  Will was a STARS mentor who committed to making the world a better place through his positive attitude, kindness to others, and commitment to excellence in all that he did.
General Requirements

  • Personal Essay describing how VN/STARS has impacted your life and how you plan to use what you have learned through STARS to make the world a better place.
