Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or continuing college student. 2. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident and a resident of Colorado for his or her final two years of high school 3. Applicant must be enrolled as a full-time student at a Colorado Council Member Institutions, enrolling in the next academic year. 4. Applicant must demonstrate significant experience in volunteerism/community service. 5. Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale. |

The National Scholarship could be considers itself the “Pell Grant” for highly motivated DREAMers with significant, unmet financial need. The National Scholarship Award will cover your tuition and fees up to a maximum of $16,500 for an associate degree and $33,000 for a bachelor’s degree, at one of our Partner Colleges. In order to apply to the scholarship students must currently have DACA or TPS or certify that they meet the the immigration eligibility criteria. Additionally, students must demonstrate financial need along with the intent to attend a 4-year institution. |

The County Sheriffs of Colorado, through its honorary membership program, awards approximately thirty $500 scholarships every academic school year. In Each year they encourage Colorado high school seniors from across the state to write a 1,500 word essay about the importance of the civil jury system as the guardian of American rights and liberties.
